Kgaugelo Mokgehle

Kgaugelo is a Creative Writer at TBWA Hunt Lascaris. Works she is most proud of include those created for Let Girls Learn, South African Tourism, Netflorist, Debonairs Pizza, MTV Base, TelkomMTN, Solidarity Fund and her opinion pieces for News24 Voices. Most of which once saw her shortlisted in the Top 55 young women across the globe, for the Cannes Lions See It Be It initiative. As an egalitarian with strong views on Afrocentric pride, representation, women’s rights and mental health, these subjects are what inform her work where creative freedom permits.

Kate Fordyce

At the helm of the inhouse creative agency at Woolworths, Kate’s world is one of brand-building at the relentless pace of retail. With a background both at creative agencies, in leadership roles at TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris and Ogilvy Cape, and ‘on the client side’ at Sanlam, she loves the unique challenge of effective engagement within the increasing convergence of consumer, commerce, content, channel and creativity.

Dannya Baiocchi
Ogilvy, Johannesburg

Dannya rebelled against a degree (law), a vocation (exploring the world as a flight attendant) and most recently, a career as a custodian of offline North American airline brands to pursue her love of writing. She’s done freelance work for Contiki but her happiest days of writing have been within the brightly-coloured walls of Ogilvy Johannesburg. In her (nearly) three years there, Dannya has had the privilege of working with some of the world’s best creatives and on some of South Africa’s most loved brands including Kotex, Huggies, Oros, DStv, Cadbury, Castle Lager and Investec.

Gareth O'Callaghan
Art Director / Creative Group Head
Joe Public United

Gareth O’Callaghan is an Art Director and Creative Group Head at Joe Public United, so naturally, he got his writer to do this. Gareth loves two things. The craft of crafting and ideas so big you go “wow, that’s a big idea, Gareth.” But what makes an idea big? Well if you ask Gareth like I did, he will tell you it’s about ideas that make you feel something. And his favourite ideas are the ones that make you feel like laughing.

Lol. He also wanted me to mention something about how he has been awarded at
D&AD, Cannes, the One Show and the Loeries.
