Jabulani Sigege
Creative Consultant

Pop culture junkie. Amateur(ish) runner. Cultural capital advocate. Laweyi. Just some of the terms used to describe Jabulani. Despite having the official ball of the 2010 FIFA World Cup named after him, he did not receive a single cent from FIFA or Sepp Blatter. Allegedly.

Currently a creative consultant, Jabulani has previously worked at King James, Net#work BBDO Cape Town, M&C Saatchi Abel and Hero. He’s helped shape homegrown and international brands such as Nando’s, Heineken, Capitec, Yardley London, and Old Mutual, to name a few.

His accolades include Cannes, One Show, Loeries, Pendorings, Bookmarks and Assegais, among others. His claim to fame though is that a bot (@jabscolleagues) was created to collect and archive his “Colleague 1” tweets, the unfiltered ramblings of his agency co-workers, for posterity.

Outside of work, you’ll catch him people watching (but not in a creepy way).
