Entries now open for the Pendoring Awards 2018 

The wait is over. The Pendoring Advertising Awards are officially open for entries. As a truly unique South African award, the entries are open to all advertising and marketing creatives who work in the 10 official indigenous languages of our country. The extended entry deadline for submissions is on Tuesday, 4 September at midnight so make sure you get your best work in as soon as possible.

In order to keep up with the ever-changing pace of digital innovation in advertising and marketing, this year we are introducing two new categories. These are:

  • Branded content/ Brand-sponsored content: This award is for editorial content sponsored by a brand in an editorial setting but is useful and interesting enough to engage the audience in a meaningful way.
  • Online & Mobile advertising and email marketing: Effective and creative use of messaging in a marketing campaign, either for a once-off promotion or as part of an ongoing communications plan. Work that used mobile in the most innovative way possible to engage with consumers perhaps by harnessing a device's lesser used common features, or using them in ways not thought of before.
