Here's the line up of our global Seminar speakers: 

Fabian Frese
Chief Creative Officer, Kolle Rebbe 

Fabian joined Kolle Rebbe in 2014 as Partner and MD Creation, responsible for Netflix and the global Lufthansa account.

He made a bold move in 2013 when he left Jung von Matt as Executive Creative Director to take a digital sabbatical, touring as an intern through a variety of digital companies which, he says, made him ‘much poorer but a lot smarter’. He also founded start-ups during that time and this has remained close to his heart because his current agency, Kolle Rebbe, is big on supporting start-ups.

His talent has won him an impressive number of national and international awards in his personal capacity. In addition, while at Jung von Matt, the agency was recognised as Germany's ‘Agency of the Year’ and as ‘Independent Agency of the Year’.

Ian Mackenzie
Executive Creative Director, FCB/SIX

Across 15 years in the business, first as writer then creative director, Ian has worked at the forefront of digital and creative innovation. During that time, his work has earned more than 100 international awards for creativity and effectiveness, including One Show, D&AD, Clios, Webby Awards and a total of 17 Cannes Lions.

In 2014, he was ranked #1 Copywriter in Canada in Strategy Magazine’s Creative Report Card. Ian was also co-creator and writer of the influential “Our Food. Your Questions.” radical transparency platform for McDonald’s, which started in Canada then rolled out globally.

While at Tribal DDB, Ian was selected to receive direct and formal creative director training from industry legends Keith Reinhard, Amir Kassaei, Bob Scarpelli, Matt Eastwood and Lisa Bennett. As creative leader of the data-driven creative agency FCB/SIX, Ian recently led a project for PFLAG Canada (“Destination Pride”) that went on to become the most awarded Canadian campaign at the 2018 Cannes Lions – and the second most awarded campaign in Canadian history.

Major clients have included Honda, AB/InBev, Cadbury, Taco Bell and BMW.


Mzamo Masito
Chief Marketing Officer, Google Africa 
South Africa

Mzamo Masito is the chief marketing officer for Google Africa. He is based out of the company’s Johannesburg office and leads the sub-Saharan African marketing team. His role entails bringing to life Google’s mission to organise the world’s information and make it universally accessible and be useful so that Google’s users and partners can grow in Africa. 

Masito joined Google from Vodacom, where he held a senior position. He has an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) as well as a post-graduate diploma from UCT. He lectures at the AAA School of Advertising and serves on the GIBS advisory board. He previously held senior positions at Nike and Unilever. Masito founded and runs an NGO called African Men Care, which funds underprivileged children to further their studies. He is passionate about learning and what the power of education can do for the African people.


Nicolas Courant
Executive Creative Director, Ogilvy & Mather

First Europe then EMEA and now Asia: Nicolas is sharing his creative talent across the world. He started in his native France as a copywriter working on major accounts including Air France, La Société Générale, Pfizer and Seat. It wasn’t long before he was ranked amongst the best French copywriters by CB News. Then Ogilvy beckoned.

Nicolas joined Memac Ogilvy as Creative Director to set up the agency in Tunis, founding OgilvyOne in 2009, OgilvyAction in 2010 and OgilvyPR in 2011, and driving Memac Ogilvy Tunis to the top three most awarded MEA agencies and the top 10 EMEA agencies in 2012. He was appointed to head the newly created Memac Ogilvy MENA Regional Creative Council in 2012.

In his current position, Nicolas has been involved in award-winning creative work for Unilever, Allianz, Coca-Cola and Philips. He adds this recognition to a host of awards from every major international contest in categories that range from film and digital to mobile and direct. His work has also featured on TED’s Ads Worth Spreading.

Lethepu Matshaba
Vice President Homecare Southern Africa, Unilever
South Africa

Lethepu Matshaba is a seasoned business leader with 20 years’ experience.

Her diverse career involves the Foods and Personal Care categories locally and within the Africa region. Lethepu has extensive external experience having consulted for several Blue Chip multinationals and Government departments. This after heading up the 2010 FIFA World Cup Marketing Operations.

Her big passion is helping Rewrite Africa’s Narrative.

Ramsey Naja
Chief Creative Officer, J. Walter Thompson Middle East & Africa,

A former DJ, theatre director and TV news anchor, Ramsey escaped Lebanon’s civil war to move to the UK in 1985. He collected an MA in Drama from Hull University and joined JWT in 1994, before returning to Beirut in 2001. Under his stewardship, JWT MENA became one of the region’s most awarded networks and was voted network of the year twice and most effective network in 2014.  He is a member of JWT’s Worldwide Creative Council and a columnist for Campaign ME magazine.


Sebastian Padilla
Co-founder, Anagrama

With a prominent architect for a father it was almost inevitable that Sebastian would choose to work in the creative arts, but the discipline wasn’t obvious. He thought about it very carefully before choosing graphic design because it would enable him to work across the creative disciplines.

After graduating he worked in advertising for a year until he met Mike Herrera, his founding partner and now Creative Director at Anagrama. Gustavo Muñoz became the third member of the team. From their beginnings in a cramped bedroom, they have grown into a studio that employs more than 30 designers, architects, programmers and software engineers, they have offices in Monterrey and Mexico City, and they’ve worked in more than 40 countries throughout the five continents. 

Their work ranges from graphic and interior design to interactive design. And while Rihanna may be their most celebrated client, they also work for major brands such as Armani, Nike, and Vitra.
